Our Dam Trip

We had a great time at the Hoover Dam, or more commonly known as Brandon's favorite dam. I think maybe I had the most fun because when I told the group I wanted to walk across, they told me I would have to find a new way home. I guess that just leaves something for me to do next time.

Vegas Highlights

Who knew this sign was in the middle of a busy road. Joseph maneuvered the driving while Lacey jumped out with me for this Kodak moment.

Chocolate with Ethel, oh what fun! We enjoyed the chocolate sayings and the chocolate of course. Brandon especially enjoyed the chocolate.

Time with the Boys of Vegas

Nevada?

I know, I know. I always wanted to go to Nevada when I was in college. Then, I went to every state in the west except for Nevada so I decided I would never go. I guess it was inevitable. How could I stay away now that family lives there?

St. George

I stopped by the St. George temple. Who could miss a photo opp.

Cove Fort

On my way back to Vegas I stopped by Cove Fort. It was a nice break in the drive. The door was really cool with an original hinge. I really enjoyed to dominoes in the boys room.

Utah Trip

I drove up to Salt Lake for the weekend. Korilyn, Melissa (Korilyn's sister), and I went up to Temple Square. We saw Sister Joseph (Isaac from Kenya's niece). Korilyn and I also stopped by BYU on our way to our Africa reunion. We went to see the new Gordon B. Hinckley alumni building. We had a great time at the reunion, but for some reason I didn't take any pictures of all of us looking normal.

Vegas, Baby, Vegas

My first time to Vegas and my first time to In-N-Out. Thanks to Tad I knew just what to order. It sure was good. Lacey volunteered to take the group picture . This is Brandon's thinking face. We had a great time.

In an effort to get my room ready before I leave for Vegas I have completed the background on my bulletin boards. I am very proud of my polka-dots.

Check out the best pictures I was able to take. Glare and all see if you can pick out the three sets of polka-dots that are different. If you get it right there just might be a prize. Keep in mind that is is designed for third grade.

Our New Furniture
